The USGBC-NCC Capital Branch typically holds events on the second Thursday of the month in Sacramento to engage in a dialogue about green building in the Sacramento area. Please join us! The Sacramento Branch is now the USGBC-NCC Capital Branch!
Branch leadership has decided to adopt a new Branch name that reflects our mission to become a regional resource and force for advocacy to state government. We feel that the name further supports the goals and objectives of the Northern California Chapter, as well as Chapters throughout California, in our efforts toward a sustainable future. Though primarily based in Metro Sacramento, we continue to endeavor to actively represent an area that covers 10 counties, and the ongoing passion and commitment of hundreds of green design and construction professionals. This new Branch name reflects this wider view; the leadership of the Branch hopes you are as excited as we are by the name change and the future successes of your Capital Branch!
The Capital Branch covers Amador, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuiba counties.
