USGBC-NCC is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization dependent upon revenue from contributions, membership dues, fees for workshops and events, and sponsorships. Revenue supports the Chapter's programming and staff, and will support the implementation of our forthcoming strategic plan for increasing the impact of the Chapter on the green building movement in Northern California. Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, November 14 – 16, 2012, is coming to San Francisco - North America’s greenest city, and the birthplace of USGBC. USGBC-Northern California Chapter (USGBC-NCC) is organizing many activities during the conference, including tours, participation in Conference events and programs, volunteer mobilization, partnerships with regional organizations, and much more.
