Welcome to the USGBC-NCC Diablo East Bay Branch!

The Diablo East Bay Branch provides accessible, quality education and information to area businesses, jurisdictions, organizations, designers and stakeholders regarding green building, planning and sustainability trends that impact communities, building development and associated industries.

The USGBC-NCC Diablo East Bay Branch Leadership Team

The mission of the Diablo East Bay Branch is to:

Be stewards of market transformation
Provide tools and expertise
Educate the industry and the public
Build community
Provide forums for industry dialogue
Advocate for sustainable practices and innovation

The formation of the Diablo East Bay branch was approved by the USGBC-NCC Board of Directors on June 16th, 2009. Read the press release.

Branch Coverage

The Diablo East Bay Branch covers the parts of Alameda and Contra Costa east of the Caldecutt Tunnel, including the communities of Alamo, Antioch, Brentwood, Byron, Clayton, Concord, Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Martinez, Oakley, Pacheco, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, Pleasanton, Oakley, Orinda, and Walnut Creek as well as related unincorporated County areas. (The San Francisco Bay Bridge Branch covers the metropolitan parts of Contra Costa and Alameda, including the city of Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Piedmont, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, El Cerrito, El Sobrante, Hercules, Pinole, Richmond, and San Pablo and the Silicon Valley Branch covers the southern parts of Alameda and San Mateo county as well as Santa Clara county.)
