The USGBC - Northern California Chapter has partnered with the San Francisco Green Business Program to provide Greenbuild attendees with a list of local green businesses. These businesses offer a variety of products and services, including retail sales, food, catering, lodging, tours, consulting and advertising. Each business that we’ve listed has committed to greening their operations and to maintain the greening standards that the San Francisco Green Business program has defined.
The San Francisco Green Business Program helps businesses adopt environmental practices that are sustainable as well as profitable. They set stringent criteria, provide technical assistance, and publicly recognize and promote Green Businesses with a seal that enables customers to shop in accordance with their values. Businesses that are identified with the San Francisco Green Business logo have completed their certification process and have been officially recognized by the city as green. Businesses that are not marked with the logo are working towards their certification and recognition. We encourage you to visit these businesses. You can feel confident that you will be supporting businesses that hold the same green principles that you do!
