Workshop Details
By focusing on the essential knowledge a contractor should have to be an effective member of a project’s LEED team, this workshop provides a detailed introduction to how contractors affect the outcome of a LEED project. This interactive session features an overview of the LEED process and content, and explanation of specific LEED credits that the construction team must implement.

About the Instructor:
Jared Kennedy is currently the Director of Operations for Brightworks, a sustainability advisory firm. He has facilitated integrated design strategies for project teams across the United States, acted as the firm’s liaison to the U. S. Green Building Council, and is responsible for the development and evolution of Brightworks’ project management software tools. His projects span many rating systems, types and locations, including the LEED-CI Platinum BOORA Office Renovation in Portland, OR, the LEED Silver Certified Burchfield Penney Art Museum in Buffalo, NY, the Arterra Condominiums in San Francisco, CA and the Brewery Blocks redevelopment in Portland, Oregon. Jared is a LEED Accredited Professional, has a BS in Computer Science from the Colombia University Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Please email Paul Buckman at least one week prior to the workshop to cancel attendance, transfer to another workshop, or replace a workshop attendee. Please note the following policies:
If you cancel at least a week beforehand, you will receive an 80% refund.
Attendees can request a transfer of their
registrations a maximum of one (1) time. All transferred registrations
will incur a cancellation fee of $30.
A colleague from the same company may replace your reservation for a workshop with one week notice.
Should USGBC-NCC have to cancel the workshop, attendees can receive a
100% refund or transfer their registration to another scheduled
workshop.
