Showcase your LEED knowledge and promote sustainable building!
This month's Bay Area LEED Users Group (BAyLUG) event is designed to address individual LEED material questions. With the recent announcement officially declaring the recession over, BAyLUG wants to plan ahead and start identifying
ideal materials for our newest projects. Bring a list of materials employed in upcoming and past projects, and let's discuss the various "green" qualities of these products. We are especially interested in looking at how these products behave in the field.
Join us for this roundtable discussion! All who are interested are welcome, including architects, interior designers, contractors, building tenants, and building managers. Beginning with an introduction of participants, the event will then feature an in-depth look at various materials from the perspective of an architect and a facility manager. Speakers will examine the characteristics important in green materials from both an aesthetic and a viable perspective. Following the speakers, the format will open into a roundtable discussion that supports material sharing.
