Dr. Woodrow Clark is a co-recipient of the 2007 Nobel Prize, along with former Vice President Al Gore, for his work as a co-author and co-editor of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Third Report. He was also the first Research Director for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, establishing the economic and technical basis for renewable energy technologies to be commercialized in developing nations.

The EcoKids Workshop is an educational and fun-filled event for kids
ages 6 through teens whose parents and caretakers are attending the
USGBC-NCC Silicon Valley Branch Holiday Networking Gala in the San José
City Hall Rotunda. These budding environmentalists will have great fun
in a secure setting, enjoying nutritious food while having the
opportunity to:
Socialize with other children
Learn some basic environmental concepts - explore new planet-healthy practices they can apply at home, or at school, etc.
Explore art - Kids can experience learning about the environment through art mediums
including hands-on fun with new techniques and new materials.
Children must be accompanied by a parent who is attending the gala.
